COASTAL NEST COTTAGE - PACIFIC BEACH WASHINGTON........

Nestled on the cliffs above the roaring Pacific Ocean, our Coastal Nest vacation cottage has all the amenities of home.

Our little cottage is a two bedroom, one bathroom home and has been lovingly remodeled into an open concept living space. Vaulted ceilings and a great bunch of windows make the place light and airy and very beachy.

Two decks open the living space to reach perfectly outside for more space.

The front bedroom has a queen bed and French doors that open right onto the deck. Lie in bed and listen to the waves crash on the sandy beaches below. The back bedroom has a queen bed and a twin trundle bed.

The kitchen is well stocked with all the pots, pans, utensils, and appliances you would need, including a coffee maker, a toaster, a dishwasher and microwave. A nice long dining table has plenty of seating for fun games, a nice dinner, crafting weekend with girlfriends, or a great computer work space for writing your first novel!

The home comfortably accommodates groups up to five- with three beds, a full kitchen, and stackable washer and dryer. Comfy new furniture, cable TV, DVD player, and a stereo make this a great place to kick back and relax.

The sandy ocean beach is reached by a quick walk (5 minutes)or drive (2 minutes)down the nearby Analyde Gap Road, just a block north.

Also nearby is the quaint Main Street of Pacific Beach with a few gift shops, a kite shop,nice coffee shops, convenience type grocery stores, town gazebo, and state park entrance.

Stay in and cook, or go out to a few of the local restaurants in the area.

The Naval Retreat Center- located right across the street,happily accepts public use. The Windjammer restaurant/lounge, Raindrop lanes bowling alley, a small movie theatre, and a couple of great outdoor play parks for the little kiddies, again all in a short walk from the Coastal Nest.

The back bedroom also has a queen bed and a trundle. Perfect for a couple, or a couple a kidlets!

If you are bringing children to the beach, we have a nice size back yard to play around in, and a firepit for hot dog roasting and a few marshmallow smores at night.The back deck is a great place to start your morning off right, watch the sun come up with a cup of coffee and maybe even catch a deer or two nibbling away on the nice grass!
Stackable Washer and Dryer for your convenience are also available for your use at Coastal Nest.

Nice newly renovated bathroom with pedestal sink and new tub and shower.

Pacific Beach has the most excellent razor clamming, when the days of legal digging are set. You can purchase what you need, shovel, or clam gun, a bucket or a net, for all those clams and a licence, just right down town at one of the little grocery stores.You can keep 15 clams they are fun to dig and delicious to eat! After all that clam digging, or beach combing, you just might want to head over to...

Pacific Beach is the best place to beach comb, there are wonderful sand dunes, countless wildlife, including quite a few Bald Eagles, and natural habitat to enjoy viewing while walking the shoreline.

Miles and miles of lovely beaches to walk and talk and dream to your hearts content all less than a third of a mile from the Coastal-Nest front door.

The beach is calling you.
